About tea

Hello guys!

If you want to get fit, you have to eat cleanly, get your body moving and drink lots of water, but wait! I know that some girls and boys don’t like water… But hey, not just they, but all of us can drink tea, because:

Image

1. Tea can calm you down and comfort you!
2. Your skin will look better!
3. Tea can help you sleep at night!
4. There are no calories in tea!
5. Tea contains high levels of antioxidants!

Wow! You know, that black tea improves cardiovascular health. Green tea is a  powerful anti-oxidant and helps you lose weigh. The most popular tea known to calm and relax is chamomile tea. Hibiscus tea lowers your blood pressure and hibiscus tea is rich in Vitamin C. Yellow Tea’s ability to thin the blood and lower blood pressure protects the heart and the entire circulatory system.

Researchers have recently discovered that people who drink two or more cups of tea a day are almost 50% less likely to die after suffering a heart attack. Interesting!                                                                           Image

So drink everything healthy! But not only tea, because you have to drink just two, three or four cups of tea a day, more is bad for you! Drink water, tea, lemonade etc.!

Yummy popsicles

Hey guys,

I love summer! But sometimes it just gets too hot, so we want something refreshing.  I found these popsicles and I tried them. They taste yummy! So let’s start! 🙂

1. Chocolate Covered Kiwi Popsicles.

Ingredients:                                  Image

6 large kiwis, peeled using this method, cut into 1/3″-1/2″ thick rounds
1 cup dark chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup coconut oil
popsicle sticks or lollipop sticks.

Directions:
Slice the peeled kiwis into rounds with a  lollipop stick in each one. Place on a tray lined with wax paper or parchment. Freeze for at least 4 hours and up to 48 hours.

In a glass bowl, melt the chocolate and the coconut oil over a pan of simmering water. You can also melt this in the microwave at no more than 50% power for 15-30 seconds at a time.

Dip each frozen kiwi into the melted chocolate. The chocolate will harden within a few moments of being dipped. Eat immediately or re-freeze.

2. Mango Popsicles.

Ingredients:                                                            Image

1 cup frozen mango pieces
1 lge tub of vanilla bean yogurt
1 tsp ground flaxseed
1 tsp freshly chopped mint (from my garden)
Horizon organics reduced fat milk.

Directions:

Put the first four ingredients into a blender.  Top with milk.  Blend.

Now, before you get all eager to pour it into your fancy smoothie cup, pull out your popsicle molds.  Spoon a little of the mixture into the molds and freeze. Enjoy!

3. Frozen Fruit Pops.                                                  Image

Ingredients:

1/3 cup diced kiwi
1/3 cup diced watermelon
1/3 cup diced strawberries
1/3 cup diced pineapple
1/4 cup fresh pineapple juice or orange juice.

Directions:
Combine diced fruit in a bowl and fill each 5 oz cup with fruit. Add 1 tbsp of juice and insert craft sticks into each cup. They easily stay in place because of all the fruit. Place in the freezer a few hours until firm. To remove the pops from the cups, run under warm water a few seconds. Enjoy!

Happy summer!
